DIE FRAGE (3 plus 1 Haiku)

A boy stands in front,
Asking a cat quietly:
«May I pet you now?»

Just a boy standing,
Begging a cat for consent:

«May I stroke your fur?»

Boy stands near a cat,
Waiting for her permission
Just to stroke her fur.

Ein Junge steht da,
Bittet die Katze leise:
«Darf ich dich streicheln?»
